Academics
From genetic research to animal production, from journalism to environmental sciences ... our degree programs are as diverse as our students and faculty.
The College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR) is home to a vast array of disciplines. We not only discover new aspects about our world, but also discover their usefulness and benefits to the public. These could include:
- Increased crop yields
- Cleaner water
- Cures for diseases
- Community economic stability
The options are almost limitless. Many undergraduate students enhance the strength of their degrees by selecting a minor (or two) in another area of specialization. CAFNR offers more than 18 graduate programs.
CAFNR prides itself on its commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching. CAFNR offers you one of the strongest scholarship programs at MU. Through our award-winning teaching and advising, we'll prepare you to succeed in the 21st century workplace.
